Option 1: The Muse Lab: Writing for Wellness

  • Discover the scientifically-proven power of expressive writing to support mental and physical well-being
  • Tap into your core truths, and contact your wild and unique wisdom
  • Connect with your team in a fun and creative hour of play and experimentation

The Muse Lab is a cauldron for creative play and wellness! A short guided-visualization supports participants to focus on body, breath and the present tense. From this place of expanded awareness, team members write in response to prompts on themes related to empowerment and healing. Optional share-circles provide opportunities for participants to read from their work or discuss their process. Listeners reflect on where they were moved and inspired by the work (it is not a critique).

In this celebration of the creative process, participants connect deeply with themselves and others. Sessions may be tailored to the thematic needs of your organization. Add-ons include a 10-minute Writing for Wellness slide-show talk or a short poetry reading by the presenter.

The scientifically proven benefits of expressive writing include: reduction in anxiety, depression and blood pressure; and improved cognitive function, sleep, social connection and immunity.

Sample themes include: mindfulness, compassion, self-worth, resilience, surrender, transcendence, curiosity, power, trust, love, intuition, courage, peace, ancestry, boundaries and initiation.

Option 2: Intuitive Development Primer

  • Learn about the different intuitive pathways and how to access them
  • Discover how to apply your intuition to support yourself and others
  • Enjoy a playful approach that emphasizes learning over accuracy

This hands-on workshop provides an introduction to the intuitive process and how it can be utilized. A short guided-visualization supports participants to focus on body, breath and the present tense. After a brief introduction, team members have the opportunity to support each other’s wellness journeys with intuitive insight. Participants may then reflect on their sense of the meaning and accuracy of the input they received. A playful and experimental approach supports beginners and emphasizes learning over accuracy. This is a lively hour that always provides a lot of fun, hope and connection!

For organizations that want more, this workshop is available as an introductory series on intuitive development and energy work.
