Women’s Writing as Healing Retreat

Join an intimate circle of women for a journey toward self-healing through written expression. The day-long Retreat will be held at a private venue near Victoria Drive + 40th and at beautiful Trout Lake Park.

The Retreat will include a check-in; guided visualizations; inspiring writing prompts; exercises to invite us to connect to the creative, the divine and ourselves through writing; optional sharing of work; an intro to energy healing; and dialogue. No writing experience required!

Women are invited to bring a picnic lunch; a blanket to sit on; a notebook and writing utensil/laptop; and five minutes’ worth of writing to share in a non-critical, listening circle.

Cost: $140 + GST = $147

For more into or to register, see the VWC Meetup page.

We facilitate workshops for groups as small as 4 students and for whole-grade assemblies of 100 plus. Meetup!

VWC has a Meetup group! Join us for workshops and classes in creative writing. We also offer free introductory classes on an ongoing basis.

Meetings provide new and seasoned writers with an opportunity to connect with local writers, dialogue about writing and the creative process, write to prompts and exercises designed to get us thinking and writing in new ways, get inspired and have fun!
